Developer Plan Features
The Surpass Hosting Developer Plan is the first plan at Surpass Hosting to fully support Ruby on Rails as deployed using mod_ruby and Phusion Passenger (mod_rails) in conjunction to create a stable and functional environment for Ruby on Rails development. We feel the route we have taken with this offering is the best and most convenient for our clients and we hope to foster the growing Ruby on Rails development community by offering this technology.
To continue with new and exciting features, the Developer Plan also offers full access to SVN, GIT, and CVS version control systems to foster a sense of version control that the development community has been craving. These tools are all accessible with the included shell access that the Developer Plan includes free of charge.
This plan embodies the developer hosting experience that our customers need and helps move them further into the exciting field of advanced web development.
