Server Subscription Guide
We use our forum, Surmunity.com, to archive all announcements and to email our customers. We choose to do this because the forum is a lively place of discussion and very easy to use. This page will show you how to receive instant email alerts, daily or weekly email digests, and how to keep your email address updated.
Instant Email Alerts
To get started, you first need to know what server you are on. Fill in this box below with your domain name (if it's already pointed to Surpass) or the IP from your welcome email. This will tell you the name of the server.
1. Choose the Notices Section
If you have a shared account on server Google, choose Shared Hosting Notices.

2. Choose Your Server
Following the example, choose Google.

3. Choose Thread
Each board has only one thread. Click that thread.

4. Select Menu
On the right side menu, place your mouse over Thread Tools and choose Subscribe to this Thread.

5. Complete Subscription
Select Instant notification by email and click Add Subscription.

Email Digests : Daily or Weekly
What if you'd like to receive emails for an entire section? Let's say you want to know when requests are posted in I wish that Surpass would. All you need to do is subscribe to the forum itself which offers a digest email if there are new threads. You'll get a daily (or weekly) email detailing any new thread or replies which were made. You should not sign up for a digest for Shared or Reseller Notices because you would receive an email for any server that receives an alert. For Shared or Reseller Notices: only subscribe to a thread, not the entire forum.
1. Choose the Forum
Click I wish that Surpass would
2. Choose Menu
On the right side menu, place your mouse over Forum Tools and select Subscribe to This Forum.
3. Complete Subscription
Choose Daily updates by email and click Add Subscription.
Keep Your Email Address Updated
If you are not an active forum user and just use the forum to receive the announcements, be sure to update your email address if you need to, or you will not receive any further announcements. This can be done very easily. First you will need to go to your user control panel by clicking User CP on the top forum menu.

Click Edit Email & Password to enter your new email address and save the changes.
